"238-Unit ‘Gaia Residences’ Set for 401 North Federal Highway, Hollywood, Florida"
Next year, Alta Developers intends to start construction on an 18-story residential venture in Broward County.
Gaia Residences is set to comprise 238 luxury condos, with floorplans spanning studio to three-bedroom layouts. Tenants will have the option of having their units come fully furnished. The smallest homes start at $400,000, with the largest units pushing upward of $1 million. Sources note that those prices average to about $850 per square foot.
Future residents will also have access to more than 72,000 square feet of on-site amenities, including a swimming pool, fitness center, and co-working space.

Gaia Residences underwent some revisions before arriving at its present form. The Real Deal reports that initial plans called for two 18-story buildings, featuring 466 units. Aside from the nearly 50 percent reduction, most of the project’s elements have remained the same.
Alta Developers purchased Gaia Residences’ two-acre build site for $23 million in 2021. Time-lapsed renderings from Google Earth show that the site has been vacant for nearly a decade. CFE Architects designed the 18-story high-rise. ID & Design International is the interior designer, and RH is curating the furnishings of the communal areas.
Gaia Residences is set for a 2026 groundbreaking at 401 North Federal Highway, Hollywood, Florida, 33020, in Broward County.
